The head lice life cycle is 21 days. An adult female the size of rye lays 10 eggs daily and leaves it at hair near the scalp. Eggs hatch in 9 days to become adults.
Nine days after the first medical wash treatment, you see the lice again. You repeat wash treatment to kill new lice that were protected in egg cells at time of first treatment.
Remove dead lice after each treatment with a fine comb.
