Coronavirus Last Inside the Body Persistently After Negative Results

South Korea’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention published a report explaining that they traced the contacts of 285 patients who HAD RE-TESTED POSITIVE AFTER A NEGATIVE PCR RESULT. Research indicated that these 285 patients did not get infected by new patients near them. They also did not spread infection to other people

Could these patients spread infections to other people, how much life threatening the relapse of infection is to this person and to other people around? and How long does the coronavirus last inside the body?

Scientists are finding new discoveries everyday on coronavirus. They do not have unanimous opinion on many issues. But new information age helps us spread info at a pace never thought of possible before.

Avindra Nath, the clinical director at United States National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke at the National Institutes of Health, says that each individual patient has different immune system that reacts differently with covid 19.

Also, new WHO reports also mention from earlier Italian and French studies that blood type A people tend to end up in ICU faster than other groups and require ventilators.

Scientists don’t understand coronavirus persistence. It may vary by individual and individuals may have cleaned infection from throat but alive in some other part of brain, heart, lungs or any organ undetected.

The U.S. CDC recommends COVID-19 cases isolation for 10 days after they start feeling ill, and three days after their fever goes away. But the new discoveries in Korea forces us to rethink if those patients are totally free of infection.

New discoveries also found that you may be asymptomatic  meaning that you never have symptoms,  but you are spreading the infection. Asymptomatic patient starts isolation for ten days after they get a positive result on COVID-19 test.

City of Berkeley in California has passed a new law, perhaps toughest in the world, that not to wear a mask in proximity of thirty feet to other person will be considered a criminal offense starting 8th of June ,2020. Its corona cases are about 95 for last two weeks and one death so far, but precautions are extraordinary . Each city can pass its own laws in America, some times overriding state or national laws.

Caution is never too much. Indian Express story of how a street thug was tearing dress of policeman in Jodhpur recently for asking to wear mask tell us one thing for ourselves: how little we know about Coronavirus.
