HIV test can stop AIDS progress if caught in Time

Atlanta based Center for Disease Control And Prevention chief Dr. Jonathan Mermin in a press release said that people with multiple partners should get regular test for HIV. HIV is the virus that attacks human body immunes before full blown AIDS surfaces.

The gap between the day a person is infected and the day he finds out can be as long as three years.

This gap can do irreparable damage to body system if infected. This test can be done every six months, a year or as little as two weeks.

Time of gap in test depends upon high risk or low risk behaviour of individuals. Prostitution is for example a high risk behaviour.

Countries like India should spread this message more generously because talk on sex is still a taboo here. Migrant workers, students, truck drivers plus each individual with his own whims about sex should decide  test timing. No single time setting formula can work. Media and health care NGOs can spread the message and each individual risky behavior citizen should decide his timing.

A life can be saved if HIV medication is administered before AIDS if full flown. This education is important to spread in India. So many families, children and careers can b saved from cruelty of death or poverty or orphanage. Each individual is a national asset
